The University of Iowa is seeking an Application Developer to join the Health Care Information Systems team. This role involves workflow analysis, application design, implementation of Epic Systems software, and collaboration with diverse stakeholders. The successful candidate will work within the Community Connect Iowa program to enhance regional healthcare systems and provide critical technical support.
University of Iowa Health Care department of Health Care Information Systems is seeking an Application Developer to provideworkflow analysis, optimization, application build, testing, and implementation of Epic Systems software related to the Beaker Clinical Pathology application. This position includes working with Project Management groups, key stakeholders, vendors, contactors, and end users regularly.
This position will support the UI Health Care’s Community Connect Iowa program, which extends our Epic applications to regional hospitals and clinics.

Health Care Information Systems (HCIS): Provides and supports information and communication systems and technology that facilitate quality patient care, progressive medical education, and innovative research.
HCIS services University of Iowa Health Care by providing comprehensive, high-level support for patient care delivery, internal and external communication, technology innovation, medical education, and research. Creating and maintaining a positive, productive, and rewarding environment for information technology and communication staff
