Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center seeks a Clinical Application Analyst (Pharmacy) to design, build, optimize, and support Epic pharmacy applications across inpatient, ambulatory, and oncology settings. The role aims to ensure safe medication-use workflows and regulatory compliance.

The candidate should have pharmacy or oncology nursing experience and proven Epic Beacon build expertise, collaborating across IT, pharmacy, and clinical teams to drive safe, efficient technology adoption.

Qualifications

Doctorate in Pharmacy or DNP required.
EPIC Beacon certification required, ambulatory preferred.
Five years of pharmacy/clinical oncology nursing practice and IT analytics experience.
Ability to translate operational workflows into Epic functionality.
Experience building IT applications in Epic Beacon environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, build, and maintenance of Epic pharmacy and clinical application functionality.
Configure interfaces for retail, specialty, inpatient, oncology, and investigational services.
Translate clinical protocols into Epic build requirements with safety and compliance.
Lead workflow analysis, documentation, and validation for Epic solutions.
Collaborate with pharmacy, clinical, and research teams to streamline workflows and CDS tools.
Support QA testing, downtime planning, and regulatory documentation.
Mentor analysts and train end users on Epic best practices.
