UVA Health System is seeking a clinical pharmacist to join the Oncology Investigational Drug Services team, focusing on Epic Beacon treatment and supportive-care plan development for adult oncology studies.

You will build, review, and validate Beacon plans, coordinate with investigators, nurses, pharmacists, and coordinators, and help drive faster study activation while maintaining patient safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. from ACPE accredited college.
• Virginia State Pharmacy license or within 60 days of hire.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.
• Preferred PGY-1 residency or equivalent clinical experience.
• Experience working with Epic Beacon plans preferred.

Responsabilités

• Build, review, and validate Epic Beacon treatment and supportive-care plans for adult oncology studies.
• Verify medications, laboratory requirements, premedications, timing, and nursing instructions.
• Coordinate across interconnected research and clinical workflows to ensure protocol alignment.
• Troubleshoot Beacon orders and support treatment-plan workflow issues.
• Collaborate with investigators, nurses, pharmacists, builders, and study stakeholders.
