UVA Health is seeking a pharmacist to join the Oncology Investigational Drug Services team, focusing on building and validating Epic Beacon treatment and supportive-care plans for adult oncology studies. The role requires clinical judgment, precision, and coordination across research and clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Pharmacy or Pharm.D. required.
• PGY-1 residency or equivalent clinical experience preferred.
• Virginia license or eligibility and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Build, review, and validate Beacon treatment plans for adult oncology studies.
• Coordinate across research and clinical workflows with investigators, nurses, pharmacists, and coordinators.
• Verify medications, labs, premedications, timing, and nursing instructions per protocol.
• Assist in transforming research protocols into operational treatment plans for study activation.
• Troubleshoot Beacon orders and support Beacon-related workflow issues.
