Job summary

Shepherd Center is seeking an experienced Epic Application Manager to lead a clinical and ancillary applications team. You will guide design, build, testing, and optimization of Epic systems while partnering with operations to improve workflows.

The role combines hands-on senior analyst work with people leadership, balancing project delivery with production support in a mission-driven hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Active Epic certification in at least one relevant Epic application.
• Minimum of three years in healthcare IT, Epic application, clinical/ancillary operations, or related field; five+ years preferred.
• Experience as an Epic senior analyst, application lead, or similar IT role implied by responsibilities.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Epic Clinical/Ancillary Applications team and manage staffing, priorities, and performance.
• Perform and oversee Epic build, configuration, validation, testing, and optimization.
• Lead cross-functional Epic projects, upgrades, and integration efforts.
• Foster partnerships with clinical leaders, operational partners, and vendors.
• Maintain documentation, regulatory compliance, and support processes.
