Job summary

Eisenhower Health in Rancho Mirage, California, seeks a Business Applications Analyst to support and optimize our Epic revenue cycle environment, with a focus on PB Claims and Contracts. • Coordinate application support with System Admins, DBA, Networking, Reporting and Help Desk.

Job description

• Eisenhower is seeking a Business Applications Analyst to support and optimize our Epic revenue cycle environment, with a focus on Professional Billing (PB) Claims and Contracts. This position partners with operational and IT stakeholders to enhance workflows, resolve issues, and ensure accurate claims processing and reimbursement configuration within Epic. Supports the core functions of Eisenhower business applications to enable cost-effective, high quality, efficient, and safe patient care. Implements, administers, and supports assigned business systems under the guidance of senior members of the team. Has a thorough understanding of assigned applications, ancillary systems, and health system operations. Addresses issues and design decisions of moderate to high complexity and delivers clear communication and documentation of complex concepts and issues related to applications, interfaces, data structures, and workflows across the organization. Coordinates application support with other information technology teams including System Administrators, DBA, Networking, Reporting, and the Help Desk. Implements changes using documented procedures that are compliant with department's policies and procedures. Provides solutions to work orders, trouble tickets and projects for assigned departments.

• Required: Relevant Epic certification(s) required for those positions supporting an Epic application; must complete relevant Epic certification(s) within 12 months of hire or 12 months from transferrring into position

Experience

• Required: Two (2) years in healthcare or information systems related positions
