Job summary

Parkview Health in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Epic Applications Specialist who independently maintains design and build expertise in Epic. You will develop, upgrade, and support the Epic application while ensuring consistent documentation standards and strong knowledge transfer with the team and end users.

You will propose solutions to leaders around documentation, efficiency, quality, reporting and system updates, taking a leadership role to foster a learning approach and to grow team

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare, computer or related field required or preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, computer or related field preferred.
• Epic certifications (Hospital Billing and/or Professional Billing, Hospital Billing Reimbursement Contracts or Professional Billing Reimbursement Contracts) required or accreditation status at hire.

Responsibilities

• Design and build expertise in Epic applications.
• Independently develop, upgrade and support the Epic application with documentation standards.
• Transfer knowledge to co-workers and clients; support efficient, high-quality solutions.
• Lead in documenting requirements and communicating with the team and end users.
