Job summary

University of Miami Health System is seeking an experienced Epic Analyst to support clinical application workflows in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The role involves designing, building, implementing, and maintaining Epic applications while ensuring alignment with clinical processes and policies.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, provide day-to-day application support, participate in on-call rotations, and mentor Associate Epic Analysts, with a strong emphasis on documentation,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field required.
• Epic ClinDoc, Orders, and ASAP certifications required.
• At least 2–3 years of Epic build experience preferred.
• Familiarity with clinical workflows and ED workflows, including ADT and charging.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and leadership to Associate Epic Analysts on the team.
• Implement, build, and modify the Epic application.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, end-users, and IT colleagues to optimize configuration, function, and access.
• Deliver day-to-day application support and resolve issues.
• Serve as a primary contact for end-users of the Epic system.
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain Epic modules and workflows.
• Support testing phases and document workflow design.
• Analyze IT in clinical work processes and validate workflow impacts.
• Participate in on-call rotations and cross-functional committees.
• Maintain communication with teams and leadership; review project status regularly.
