Job summary

Nicklaushealth in Miami seeks an experienced IT professional to provide Epic product function, design, build, and testing expertise for an assigned Epic module related to Clinical applications. You will collaborate with end users to design and build the Epic system promptly and professionally, enabling corrective configuration or enhancements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS or related field (or 4 years IT experience).
• Clinical Epic certifications in 2 Epic modules.
• 4-7 years of experience with implementations for large organizations.
• 4-7 years of experience in change management processes for IT projects.
• 4-7 years direct experience in healthcare information systems development, implementation, and supporting clinical application systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides Epic product function, design, build, and testing expertise for assigned Epic module related to Clinical applications.
• Collaborates with end users to design and build the Epic system in a timely and professional manner and make corrective configuration or enhancements.
• Leads small to medium complexity Epic software upgrade initiatives or enhancements to workflows including the design, build, and test phases.
• Participates in design and validation sessions and ensure appropriate documentation, follow-up and issue escalation occurs
• Provides technical and/or clinical consultation including application configuration. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates system needs to develop recommendations for customers.
• Develops, supports, and maintains all required system design and build documents and other system documentation.
• Performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with Epic software.
• Takes full ownership of assigned project or system.
