University Health is seeking an Epic Inpatient Application Analyst to serve as the primary support contact for the Epic system within the Inpatient team. The role involves designing, building, and testing workflows to meet end-user needs and providing technical guidance during implementation and operation of the Epic platform.
The position requires coordinating complex system tasks, maintaining strong cross-team relationships, and adhering to UH policies. Epic pre-assessment testing is required.
Acts as the primary support contact for their Epic application in the Inpatient team. Designs, builds, and tests the system to achieve workflow requirements to meet end user needs. Provides computer technical expertise, project management, technical guidance and direction in the implementation and operation of the computer system. Organizes and schedules a variety of major and/or complex computer system tasks, including programming, in a timely and proficient manner Individual must maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and other UHstaff and perform other duties as assigned or defined in the performance evaluation and in the UHpolicies and procedures
Experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required. Experience as an Epic application analyst preferred but not required. Experience specifically in Epic Inpatient systems applications preferred. Work experience may be substituted for formal education requirement. Will be required to successfully pass the Epic pre-assessment test.
