Job summary

Wolfspeed in Durham, NC is seeking a hands-on Process Technician to sustain and improve epitaxy wafer fabrication. You will report issues, collaborate with Process and Equipment Engineering, and help ensure quarterly yield and cycle-time goals.

The role requires an Associate degree in EET or MET or related technical field, strong problem-solving using OCAPs/5Whys/8Ds, and proficiency with MS Word/Excel/Access; JMP/SQL a plus; you must be able to stand for long shifts in a cleanroom environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in EET or MET or equivalent technical field required.
• Experience in structured problem solving (OCAPs, 5Whys, 8Ds) expected.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access; JMP and SQL a plus.

Responsibilities

• Report and document process issues and equipment malfunctions.
• Take corrective action and collaborate with Process and Equipment Engineering to resolve issues on the factory floor.
• Handle non-conforming material events and related depositions.
