Wolfspeed is seeking an equipment operator to work across semiconductor process areas, including photolithography, etch, CVD, PVD and metrology. You will handle wafer packing/unpacking and monitor data to optimize wafer movement in the fab, while maintaining a watchful presence in the Operations Command Center.
The role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift 25 pounds, and basic computer skills (Excel, Outlook). This is a full-time on-site position in New York area.
Operate, and routinely qualify, equipment in various semiconductor process areas such as photolithography, etch, CVD, PVD, metrology, and others. Perform logistic tasks such as wafer unpacking, releasing to process, and packing to be shipped. Maintain a presence in the Operations Command Center. Monitor and evaluate operating data to ensure optimized wafer movement in the fabricator.
The posted salary range is what Wolfspeed reasonably expects to pay for this position. Actual pay for a hired applicant will be determined based on the individual’s job-relevant qualifications, experience, and other determinative factors. In the event it is determined that a different job level upon hire is warranted then that range will be communicated to the hired applicant as soon as reasonably practicable. Compensation Range: $16.90 - $23.20
