Job summary

Wolfspeed in Durham, NC is seeking a process technician for back-end night shifts (Wednesday-Friday, every other Saturday 6:55 PM-7:00 AM). Qualifications

• Associate degree in Electronics Engineering Technology (EET) or Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) or related field.
• Experience with OCAPs, 5Whys, and 8Ds for structured problem solving.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access; JMP/SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Report and document process issues and equipment malfunctions; take corrective action with Process and Equipment Engineering.
• Handle non-conforming material events and related depositions.
• Assist in creating and refining procedures.
• Collaborate with Operations and other engineering teams to achieve quarterly yield and cycle time goals.
• Work with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, and R&D to sustain and improve processes, including DOE.
