Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial substations experience. Responsibilities include defining scope, schedules, budgets and steering complex projects through delivery and closeout in a proactive, collaborative environment.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree, 13+ years of related work, and PMI/DBIA certifications within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Thirteen or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives for projects.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with WBS and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs and ensures profitability.
• Prepares monthly client billings and monitors payments; approves subcontractor invoices.
• Monitors project risks and escalates as needed; manages changes via change protocols.
• Communicates deadlines, assignments and objectives to the project team.
• Prepares overall project schedule and in-house budgets by group.
• Facilitates meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
