Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager II to support the Project Manager across multiple EPC projects in the energy infrastructure sector. You will coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities through development and execution phases.

The role requires 2+ years in construction project experience, a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, and the ability to travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field.
• 2+ years of construction project experience, including planning and management activities such as estimating, bidding, scheduling, procurement, and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.
• Assists PM in developing initial project schedule with relevant teams.
• Participates in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Develops subcontractor/vendor scopes and schedule exhibits for PM review.
• Supports safety planning and incident reporting with Safety personnel.
• Helps PM prepare monthly project review reports for PM and Senior Management.
• Performs financial reviews and project closeouts.
• Assists with RFI submittals using QISG document management system.
• Provides feedback to improve quality of technical, commercial, and administrative deliverables.
• Assists in procurement of purchase orders and subcontracts.
• Monitors overall design, procurement, and construction progress.
• Facilitates project close-out and warranty administration.
• Performs post-construction cost reviews and lessons learned.
• May act as PM when qualified and assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field
