Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC is seeking an Assistant Project Manager II to support the Project Manager across multiple EPC construction projects in the energy sector. You will coordinate engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.

You will help develop project schedules, participate in value engineering, and assist with monthly financial reviews, RFI submittals, and project close-out activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Construction Science/Management, Engineering, or equivalent field; equivalent work experience, or combination of work and education may be substituted.
• 2+ years of construction project experience, including various aspects of construction planning and management including, but not limited to engineering, estimating, bidding, preparing, and administering purchase orders and subcontracts, scheduling, cost control, document control, etc.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction activities during development and execution phases.
• Assists PM in development of the initial project schedule with engineering, estimating, project controls, procurement, and construction management.
• Participates in value engineering and constructability reviews.
• Works with procurement to develop subcontractor and vendor scopes of work and schedules exhibits to the contracts for PM review.
• Collaborates with Safety personnel on safety plans, incident reporting, and investigations.
• Assists PM with project schedule and monthly review reports for management.
• Supports project by conducting financial reviews and closeouts monthly.
• Assists with RFI submittals using QISG’s document management system.
• Provides feedback to improve quality of deliverables across projects.
• Assists in procurement of purchase orders and subcontract packages.
• Monitors progress of design, procurement, and construction.
• Facilitates project close-out and warranty administration.
• Performs post-construction cost review and lessons learned.
• Performs other duties as assigned by PM/Operations Director.
