Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in the United States is seeking a Construction Coordinator to assist on EPC and construction management projects across various industries. You will support safety, quality, cost control, and procurement, while interfacing with clients and subcontractors.

You will help prepare plans, manage documentation, and assist with estimates, bid packages, and change orders. This role requires organization, communication, and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Experience may substitute for the degree.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of document control, scheduling, cost control and project management software preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to handle large volumes of work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must meet driving requirements.
• Legally authorized to work permanently in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administration of project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, subcontractors, suppliers, procurement, proposals, estimates, documentation, turnover, client interface, and field activities.
• Support project teams in building client relationships and interfacing with clients for proposals and project items.
• Assist the Project Management team with prime/subcontracting contracts and change orders.
• Assist with development and implementation of plans (PXP, QA, Safety & Health, Subcontracting, Staffing, Organization Chart, Procurement).
• Assist with jobsite setup, mobilization/demobilization, permits, and pre-qualification efforts.
• Coordinate RFP packages, bid/selection, and scope-of-work documents for downstream contracts.
• Assist with contract administration, RFI's, submittals, change management, and claims mitigation.
• Support project controls: cost reporting, scheduling, WBS, set-up/closeout in accounting system, field progress tracking.
• Develop internal/external reports: budgets, cost reports, cash flow, status reports.
• Attend risk reviews/meetings; record/distribute minutes; audits; and project closeout activities.
