Job summary

AEP is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead EPC and CCGT projects within a matrix team environment at its Columbus, Ohio headquarters. You will oversee planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout with emphasis on safety and cost control, delivering complex projects to satisfy customers and stakeholders.

The role requires coordinating multiple internal and external teams, managing budgets and schedules, and presenting detailed updates to executives and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field; seven+ years qualified experience, or
• Associate's degree with nine+ years, or
• High School Diploma with eleven+ years; PMP preferred for higher grades.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, coordinate and supervise project and outage work activities.
• Ensure safety policies and Zero Harm commitments.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and staffing; communicate status updates.
• Lead planning meetings and stakeholder presentations; provide written reports.
• Manage procurement plans and outside resources; oversee vendor performance.
