Qualifications

  • Minimum six months of hands-on apartment maintenance or similar experience.
  • Proven ability to perform unit make-ready, repair, and basic groundskeeping tasks.
  • EPA certification (Type 1, 2, 3, Universal or equivalent) required or pending.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to site.

Responsibilities

  • Execute maintenance duties across electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry and painting projects.
  • Restore and maintain structural components including fixtures, cabinetry, doors, walls and exterior elements.
  • Provide superior customer service to residents, clients and colleagues; address inquiries and concerns.
  • Respond to resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Oversee unit turnover preparations to meet standards before new move-ins.
  • Implement and manage annual preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct grounds upkeep: debris removal, sweeping, light landscaping.
  • Support management with special projects and ad-hoc assignments.

BeMore Staffing is currently recruiting for a temporary-to-permanent position as a Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician within a residential community. This role is pivotal in ensuring the operational efficiency and resident satisfaction of the property by managing a wide array of repair and upkeep tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in construction, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building repairs, with a strong emphasis on delivering high-quality service to residents and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Execute comprehensive maintenance duties encompassing electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry, and painting projects.

  • Exhibit strong organizational abilities with the capacity to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team.
  • HVAC experience is preferred; candidates must provide valid proof of EPA certification (Type 1, 2, 3, Universal, or equivalent).
  • Demonstrate 1–2 years of specific experience in apartment maintenance, property maintenance, and HVAC systems (preferred).
