Job summary

BayCare Health System seeks an EP Tech in Clearwater, FL, to support the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team in diagnostic and invasive procedures. The role requires independent function with minimal supervision and involvement in electrophysiology workflows.

Location at Morton Plant, shift 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, PRN status. Licensure candidates must have BLS/ACLS and appropriate Cath Lab/electrophysiology credentials; BayCare offers comprehensive benefits and career opportunities.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS required.
• 1 year related field; or 3 years related experience in lieu of technical training/program.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist plus 1 year Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology/Electrophysiology experience.
• CVT program/degree and no experience acceptable.
• 3 years Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology/Electrophysiology in lieu of education.
• RCIS and/or RCES with 1 year Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology experience in lieu of education.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and invasive procedures as part of Cardiovascular and Interventional Services.
• Independently function during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.

BayCare is looking for its newest EP Techin Clearwater, FL. The EP Tech serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Independently function during diagnostic and interventions with minimal supervision.

Licensure & Certification:

• BLS and ACLSis required

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year - Related Field; Or - 3 years - Related experience in lieu of Technical Training/Program.
• 1) Technical or Associates in Radiology + ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR
• 2) Associates in Respiratory+ RRT (Respiratory Therapy), Active NBRC Credential for RRT + 1 year experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology OR
• 3) Graduate of Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) Program/Degree and No Experience OR
• 4) 3 years of Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education OR
• 5) RCIS and/or RCES and 1 year of experience in Cath Lab, Interventional Radiology or Electrophysiology in lieu of education
