Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Charge RN for the Cath Lab/Interventional team in Riverview, FL. The EP Charge Nurse will lead the Cardiovascular team during diagnostic and invasive procedures, ensuring clinical excellence and safety with oversight by the Manager.

This role requires strong clinical expertise and mentorship of staff. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of nursing experience with Cath Lab exposure and holds RN licensure with BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical nursing experience with Cath Lab exposure.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular procedures.
• Independently perform duties with supervision as needed.
• Assume room charge and team leader responsibilities as assigned by Manager.
• Proctor and mentor team members during procedures.
• Promote evidence-based clinical care and clinical excellence.
• Collaborate with Cardiovascular/Interventional Services Team.

The EP Charge Nurse serves as a member of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Services Team assisting in the performance of diagnostic and invasive procedures. Resident Expert in clinical and technical aspect of Cardiovascular/Interventional. Independently functions during diagnostic and interventions with no supervision. Assumes Room charge, team leader charge and proctorship of team members when assigned by Manager. Promotes evidence-based clinical care that exemplifies the pursuit of clinical excellence.
