Job summary

StaffDNA® is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist specialized in Electrophysiology (EP) Lab procedures to assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiac arrhythmia procedures. The role focuses on accurate imaging, patient safety, and seamless collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

The position involves performing ECG monitoring, operating EP imaging equipment, maintaining records, and adhering to strict radiation safety protocols in a high-pressure hospital

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for EP procedures by explaining the process, obtaining consent, and ensuring their comfort.
• Monitor and record electrocardiograms (ECGs) and intracardiac signals during EP procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to guide physicians during diagnostic or interventional procedures.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure.
• Maintain accurate records of patient data and procedure details.
• Respond to medical emergencies within the EP lab, including providing basic life support (BLS) or advanced cardiac life support (ACLS).
