Job summary

StaffDNA is seeking an experienced professional to support electrophysiology (EP) procedures in a hospital or specialized lab. The role involves preparing patients, monitoring ECGs and intracardiac signals, and assisting physicians with imaging-guided interventions.

The position requires strict adherence to radiation safety, accurate record-keeping, and readiness to respond to medical emergencies, including BLS/ACLS, in a high-pressure clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for EP procedures by explaining the process, obtaining consent, and ensuring their comfort.
• Monitor and record ECGs and intracardiac signals during EP procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to guide physicians during diagnostic or interventional procedures.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff from unnecessary exposure.
• Maintain accurate records of patient data and procedure details.
• Respond to medical emergencies within the EP lab, including providing BLS or ACLS.
