Job summary

StaffDNA® is seeking a Radiology Technologist specializing in Electrophysiology (EP) Lab procedures to support diagnostic and interventional cardiac care. You will assist physicians, ensure patient safety, and deliver high-quality imaging.

In Austin, the role involves preparing patients, monitoring ECGs and intracardiac signals, operating imaging equipment, and adhering to radiation safety protocols. This position offers access to advanced technology, ongoing training, and a collaborative team

Qualifications

• Experience in radiology imaging and EP lab environments preferred.
• Ability to monitor and interpret ECGs during procedures.
• Commitment to radiation safety and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for EP procedures, explain the process, obtain consent, and ensure comfort.
• Monitor and record ECGs and intracardiac signals during EP procedures.
• Operate imaging equipment to guide physicians during diagnostic or interventional procedures.
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Maintain accurate records of patient data and procedure details.
• Respond to medical emergencies in the EP lab and provide BLS/ACLS as needed.
