Job summary

High Point Medical Center is seeking a Cardiovascular Specialist for the Electrophysiology lab. The role requires a nursing or allied health degree with a Cardiovascular Interventional Program background or at least two years as a Cardiovascular Specialist.

Candidates must be ARRT certified or hold a current RN license in the applicable state. ACLS/BCLS proficiency, strong communication, and meticulous documentation are essential for this 40-hour-per-week, full-time position on site in High

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Allied Health Technology (e.g., Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy).
Graduate of Cardiovascular Interventional Program or minimum of two years of Cardiovascular Specialist experience.
Must be registered/licensed as applicable (ARRT or RN/licensure in related field).

Responsibilities

Adhere to hospital policies and department procedures.
Maintain readiness of emergency equipment and supplies; respond to emergencies as needed.
Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic cardiac catheterization equipment.
Maintain safety standards and radiation protection for staff and patients.
Provide patient care during procedures; monitor physiologic stability and respond to patient needs.
Document accurately in hospital information systems and ensure proper patient data entry and charges.
