Job summary

Keck Hospital of USC is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to scrub and monitor for diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures. You will prepare, troubleshoot equipment, manage records, and support electrophysiology systems including mapping and recording.

Advanced imaging and radiation safety are required. The role involves training others, assisting with complex procedures such as TAVR, MitraClip, and LVAD management, and participating in after-hours standby.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• 2 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist; 2 years electrophysiology experience required.
• Electrophysiology (EPS, A-Fib/SVT/VT ablation, 3D Mapping) experience desired.
• Preferred: Interventional peripheral vascular experiences and structural heart repair exposure.
• Certifications: ARRT, CA DPH fluoroscopy permit, BLS, ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scrub assistant or circulate for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Operate interventional lab equipment and artifact-free imaging equipment.
• Monitor and document physiological data and hemodynamics.
• Assist with training cross-training in the Cath Lab.
• Maintain sterile technique and radiation safety protocols.
• Perform billing and ensure patient records are complete.
