Job summary

Keck Hospital of USC in Los Angeles, CA, seeks a Cardiac Catheterization Technologist for the Cardiovascular Cath Lab. This full-time union position supports diagnostic and interventional procedures and requires 10-hour day shifts with call back.

You will scrub and circulate, manage equipment, monitor hemodynamics, and ensure radiation safety while assisting in complex studies and procedures such as TAVR and device implants.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• 2 years experience as Radiologic Technologist; angiography or cardiac cath required.
• Pref EPS/3D mapping experience.
• Pref Interventional peripheral vascular experience.
• Pref Structural heart repair experience.
• Pref Cardiac support device experience.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CA DPH).
• Radiologic Fluoroscopy Permit (CA DPH).
• Radiography (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (AHA).
• Fire Life Safety Training (LA City).
• Pref Advanced ARRT Certification in vascular/cardiac radiography.
• Pref ACLS.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scrub assistant or circulate for diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
• Setup, maintain, and operate Rotablator and EKOS equipment.
• Maintain interventional EP equipment for ablation and mapping.
• Monitor patients' hemodynamic activity and record data.
• Ensure radiation safety and protective measures for staff and patients.
• Assist in training technologist cross-training in the Cath Lab.
• Handle paperwork and ensure images are archived in PACS.
• Participate in after-hours standby and call back.
