Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support a cardiac device clinic. You will provide direct patient care, device interrogation, and education for patients with pacemakers and ICDs.

The role requires RN licensure in Illinois, BSN or equivalent, and 2+ years of CV/Cardiology experience with EP/devices. Strong communication and documentation skills are essential in this on-site position.

Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience, with at least one year in EP/Device clinic or 5+ years CV experience.
• Proficient in interpretation of EKG/cardiac rhythms/arrhythmias.

Responsibilities

• Direct Nursing Care across the device clinic.
• Perform independent daily reviews of remote transmissions and reprogramming as needed.
• Coordinate transtelephonic checks and EMR scheduling.
• Ensure accurate documentation and billing in EMR.
