Job summary

HSHS Prairie Cardiovascular is seeking a Specialty Registered Nurse (RN) in our Device Clinic in Springfield, IL. The role involves managing implanted loop recorders, pacemakers and ICDs, both remotely and in person, with triaged alerts and collaboration with cardiovascular physicians and the EP team.

Ideal candidates have nursing experience, cardiac care exposure, and device management skills, with RN license and BLS. Full-time schedule is 40 hours/week; compensation aligns with experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN license in practice state.
• Diploma or Associate's degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Experience: 2 years nursing; 1 year CC/cardiac care or cath lab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care in device clinic and clinic checks.
• Perform remote and in-person device management and triage alerts.
• Support Cardiologist, EP physicians, and APPs with device checks and interpretation.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and outcomes.
