Job summary

Advocate Health's Pacewatch Department in Milwaukee, WI seeks an experienced RN to manage device interrogation and patient care for cardiac devices. You will work with EP physicians to support pacemaker and ICD patients, perform programming, and ensure safe, effective care across the perioperative continuum.

Requirements include an RN license and at least 2 years of experience, with EP knowledge a strong plus. On-call duties and a 40-hour week are expected in this full-time role at Aurora St.

Qualifications

• RN with at least 2 years of experience.
• Experience with electrophysiology (EP) preferred.
• Trained to be experts on pacemakers and defibrillators for pre/post surgical patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive device interrogations and troubleshooting for pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices, and implantable loop recorders.
• Collaborate with EP physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
• Document all device data in the electronic medical record (Epic).
• Educate patients and caregivers on device functionality and follow-up expectations.
• Share on-call responsibilities for urgent device needs.
