Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced RN for the Wisconsin cardiac device program. The role focuses on comprehensive device interrogations, troubleshooting pacemakers and ICDs, and collaboration with EP physicians and APPs in inpatient, outpatient, OR settings.

Two years of nursing experience and a state RN license are required. BLS is mandatory with ACLS often preferred, and on-site training will cover pre/post-surgical patient care and MRI safety considerations.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required in the practicing state
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred/required for some roles
• Typically 2 years of clinical nursing experience

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive device interrogations and troubleshoot pacemakers/ICDs/CRT devices
• Collaborate with EP physicians and APPs; reprogram devices as needed
• Educate patients and families on device functioning and follow-up care
