Job summary

AdventHealth Tampa is seeking a cardiovascular advanced practice nurse with EP experience to assess, manage, and support patients with arrhythmias. The role includes collaboration with electrophysiology teams, pre- and post-procedural care, and medication management as part of a comprehensive cardiac program.

The position requires a Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing and Florida APRN licensure with national certification; BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing required; Florida APRN license with national certification (ANCC/AANP) recommended
BLS and ACLS certification required
Electrophysiology or cardiology experience required

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, including history, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation
Manage patients with arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, SVT, and ventricular arrhythmias
Assist in EP procedures (ablation, device implantation, loop recorders)
Provide pre- and post-procedural care and education for EP patients
Adjust medications including antiarrhythmics and anticoagulation therapies
Collaborate with electrophysiologists, cardiologists and care teams to develop treatment plans
Participate in inpatient consults, rounding and outpatient follow-up visits
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in AdventHealth standards
