Job summary

AdventHealth Tampa is seeking a cardiovascular advanced practice nurse with EP experience to assess, manage, and support patients with arrhythmias. The role includes collaboration with electrophysiology teams, pre- and post-procedural care, and medication management as part of a comprehensive cardiac program.

The position requires a Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing and Florida APRN licensure with national certification; BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing required; Florida APRN license with national certification (ANCC/AANP) recommended
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Electrophysiology or cardiology experience required

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cardiovascular assessments, including history, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation
• Manage patients with arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, SVT, and ventricular arrhythmias
• Assist in EP procedures (ablation, device implantation, loop recorders)
• Provide pre- and post-procedural care and education for EP patients
• Adjust medications including antiarrhythmics and anticoagulation therapies
• Collaborate with electrophysiologists, cardiologists and care teams to develop treatment plans
• Participate in inpatient consults, rounding and outpatient follow-up visits
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in AdventHealth standards

Key Responsibilities

Pay Range

$92,227.20 - $171,537.60
