Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking an Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner to manage patients with cardiac rhythm disorders across inpatient and outpatient settings. You will work with EPs and Cardiologists to provide comprehensive care before and after procedures, optimize rhythm control, and educate patients and families.

Ideal candidates have extensive cardiology/EP experience, strong communication and IT skills, and a collaborative, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• Licensed NJ Nurse Practitioner with ACLS/BLS.
• 2–3 years of cardiac experience required.
• Experience in electrophysiology, telemetry, cath lab preferred.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Team player able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive cardiovascular assessments and follow-ups.
• Manage AFib, SVT, VT, and other rhythm disorders.
• Perform pre/post-procedure evaluations for EP studies and device implantations.
• Develop individualized treatment and anticoagulation plans.
• Manage CIEDs and interpret device data and ECGs.
• Review diagnostic tests and monitor remote transmissions.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
• Collaborate with EP team for coordinated patient care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses and treatments.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and contribute to quality initiatives.
