Job summary

Wood is seeking Senior Automation Technical Professionals based in Houston, TX to design and implement automation systems for oil & gas and process industry projects. You will engage in all project phases from front-end engineering to commissioning, support site surveys, FATs, SATs, and commissioning activities, and travel to client locations up to 25%.

The role supports a hybrid work arrangement in Houston, with opportunities to work both in office and on-site at client facilities.

Wood is currently recruiting SeniorAutomation TechnicalProfessionalsto be located at our Wood office in Houston, TX. The successful candidate will participate in designing and implementing automation systems for oil & gas and process industry projects, engaging in all project phases from front-end engineering to commissioning. Support site surveys, FATs, SATs, and commissioning activities, while reviewing project schedules and cost estimates. Assist procurement with vendor lists, requisitions, and technical evaluations, and travel to customer locations for project implementation (25%).
