Job summary

Wood is seeking a Senior Automation Technical Professional with a strong background in Honeywell DCS and Safety Manager SIS to be based at our client site in Wood River, Illinois. You will participate in designing and implementing automation systems for oil & gas and process industry projects, from front-end engineering to commissioning.

The role includes supporting site surveys, FATs/SATs, and reviewing schedules and costs, while assisting procurement with vendor lists and requisitions.

The Role

Participate in designing and implementing automation systems for oil & gas and process industry projects, engaging in all project phases from front-end engineering to commissioning. Support site surveys, FATs, SATs, and commissioning activities, while reviewing project schedules and cost estimates. Assist procurement with vendor lists, requisitions, and technical evaluations, and travel to customer locations for project implementation (25%).
