EOC Engineer – Junior Level
ActioNet has an opportunity for an EOC Engineer – Junior Level. Hybrid – the primary location is Suitland, MD with some flexibility to work on-site. Salary: 55‑65K.
Responsibilities
Assist with the daily activities of configuration and operation of systems (mainframe, mini, or client/server based).
Assist in optimizing system operation and resource utilization.
Perform system capacity analysis and planning.
Provide assistance to users in accessing and using business systems.
Analyze information requirements and evaluate problems related to workflow, organization, and planning.
Assist Senior Computer Systems Analysts and Computer Systems Analysts in developing corrective actions.
Help develop plans for automated information systems from project inception to conclusion.
Define problems, develop system requirements, and create program specifications for programmers.
Coordinate closely with programmers to ensure proper implementation of program and system specifications under the supervision of a Senior or Computer Systems Analyst.
Work with functional users to develop alternative solutions for systems.
Collaborate with senior analysts to identify and resolve system issues.
Develop requirements and specifications for new systems and enhancements.
Work closely with programming teams to ensure system specifications are accurately implemented.
Requirements
