Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Technical Project Lead to drive the design, integration, and testing of advanced EO/IR systems across maritime, airborne, and expeditionary platforms. You will bridge engineering and program management and lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects.

This role offers hands-on experience with imaging technologies and embedded electronics in dynamic, mission-driven environments, requiring strong scheduling, risk assessment, and execution planning skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering with 2+ years of hands-on relevant experience.
• Clear ability to analyze technical work and assess schedule feasibility, risks, and dependencies.
• Experience working with or supporting program schedules, task planning, or engineering execution tracking.
• Understanding engineering lifecycle processes including design, integration, test, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Bridge between engineering and program management, aligning technical execution with plans.
• Create technical schedules, manage milestones, and adapt to feasibility and risks.
• Provide data-driven analysis and recommendations to the Program Manager.
• Coordinate Technical Interchange Meetings across cross-functional teams.
• Support planning and execution of test events, integration, and field activities.
