Job summary

Amatriot Group, LLC is seeking an Engineer to support NSWC Crane, providing engineering and technical support for Electro-Optic and Maritime projects. You will help inform LXN projects, develop requirements, and assist with test planning and documentation.

The role requires 3+ years in systems engineering, strong communication, and familiarity with EO/IR technologies. On-site work at Crane, IN with security clearance considerations and standard reporting practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• US Citizenship required to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
• 3+ years in systems engineering and systems design.
• Experience in algorithm development, software/computer engineering, and coding.
• Experience with EO/IR, Laser Tech programs; non-coding role.
• Ability to write clear reports and English specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Perform trade studies, engineering analyses, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Develop and finalize requirements, behavior, use cases, and architecture.
• Review technical documents and standardize formats and data naming.
• Write procedures, work instructions, and design practices criteria.
• Investigate issues related to system requirements and engineering changes.
• Support test planning and execution, both virtual and live.
• Develop future EO/IR requirements and use cases for fleet needs.
• Provide engineering services and hardware installation support as required.
