Green Metals, Inc. is a new kind of scrap metal recycling and waste handling company with a business model that is truly revolutionary in the industry.

Through state-of-the-art facilities, equipment, technology, procedures, and the collective knowledge of our team members, GMI meets the scrap disposal needs of all its customers and the ecological needs of the environment. Handles scrap, recyclable, non-hazardous, and hazardous waste generated from the process of building automobiles.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Willingness to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Adherence to safety policies and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Follows safety guidelines and procedures.
• Participates in team meetings and training.
• Cleans work area according to 5’s standards.
• Unloads new waste containers to be used in plant.
• Unloads waste containers in storage area according to waste type.
• Transfers waste rags and paper from drums to Gaylord boxes.
• Crushes cans and drums in drum crusher.
• Punctures aerosol cans.
• Picks-up, boxes, and stores used light bulbs.
• Runs daily route to pick up full drums waste containers and/or empty raw material drums for storage and disposal
• Destruction of struts
• Weighs waste containers before putting into storage
• Assists in loading waste containers for shipment
• Assists in other areas as time permits
• Other duties may be assigned
