Green Metals, Inc. is seeking a plant operator to process scrap metal and perform daily plant functions under the supervision of the operations Group Leader. Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance and promoting continuous environmental improvement within the organization.

The role emphasizes safety, waste handling, and teamwork, with training provided for crane and forklift operations and potential growth within a growing recycling company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Crane license and forklift certification; additional training during first 3 months of employment.

Responsabilités

• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Unload waste containers and manage drum handling.
• Transfer waste rags and paper from drums to Gaylord boxes.
• Weigh waste containers before storage.
• Assist in loading waste containers for shipment.
• Support other areas as time permits.
• Other duties may be assigned.
