Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a GMP Waste Technician to collect and sort municipal waste, including recycling, medical and hazardous waste, at the client facility. Responsibilities include weighing materials, maintaining records, and ensuring a clean, safe work area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–2 years in recycling or solid waste, and a valid driver's license. Vaccination records and safety training may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years recycling or solid waste experience in a company environment or equivalent combination of training and experiences.
• Must have a valid driver's license or be able to obtain one.
• Vaccination records may be required upon employment: influenza, DTaP, Meningitis, Polio, Rabies, Yellow Fever.
• CPR/AED/First Aid Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collect trash, recycle, medical and hazardous waste.
• Sort materials into assigned categories.
• Weigh materials and keep records of waste collected.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety policies.
• Communicate professionally with team, supervisors and customers.
