Republic Services is seeking an Environmental Technician to oversee the safe operation and maintenance of landfill gas extraction and leachate collection systems at our Lamar, MO sites. You will monitor, sample, and report data while ensuring compliance with OSHA and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain landfill gas extraction systems and leachate collections safely.
• Monitor gas levels and sampling at wells and boundary probes.
• Troubleshoot landfill gas and leachate systems and report major issues.
• Submit reporting data on gas extraction and leachate systems.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and federal/state requirements.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support safe operations.
