Job summary

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions, seeks Environmental Technician Interns to join the PSI team in Miami/South Florida. The role will assist with asbestos, lead-based paint, and mold surveys, abatement monitoring, and clearance sampling, while supporting Phase I ESAs, Phase II subsurface investigations, and remedial site activities.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an Environmental Science or related degree, hold a high school diploma, possess strong communication skills,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Currently pursuing a degree in Environmental Science, Biology, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with asbestos, lead-based paint, and mold surveys.
• Support Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Phase II sub-surface investigations.
• Help with monitoring equipment installation and maintenance.
• Document field activities and site conditions, including GPS/GIS data.
• Travel up to 75% of the time and may require overtime.
