Intertek, via PSI, an Intertek company, seeks an Environmental Technician I for our Harrisburg, PA office. This hybrid role involves fieldwork and reporting in environmental, engineering, and construction contexts within the Building & Construction team.

Responsibilities include ESAs, subsurface investigations, abatement monitoring, and sampling; overnight travel is required up to 50%. A high school diploma is required, with preferred technical or associate-level credentials and relevant

Formación

• HS Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree or 2-Year Technical Degree preferred.
• Experience in environmental consulting services is preferred but not required.
• City of Philadelphia Asbestos License(s) a plus.
• Onsite Subsurface Investigation oversight is a plus.
• Asbestos and Industrial Hygiene experience and license is a plus.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements; ability to read and understand scope of work.

Responsabilidades

• Perform Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
• Conduct Phase II/Subsurface Investigations.
• Participate in Remedial Action Site Activities.
• Conduct Asbestos/Lead Based Paint/Mold Surveys.
• Assist with Asbestos/Lead Based Paint/Mold Abatement Monitoring.
• Collect clearance samples for Asbestos/Lead/Mold analyses.
