Intertek in Pittsburgh, PA is hiring an Entry Level Environmental Technician to support environmental consulting services. You will perform asbestos and indoor air quality work, with some off-shift hours and occasional travel.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, and may prefer an Associate degree or technical training. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are needed. The position is on-site with potential overtime.

Formación

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements.
• Ability to read and understand scope of work / work plans.
• Must be able to work off shifts and overtime and willing to work out of town.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct asbestos, lead paint, mold surveys.
• Perform abatement monitoring and clearance sampling.
• Conduct asbestos air sample analysis.
• Perform Phase I ESA and Phase II investigations.
• Prepare and review field documentation and reports.
• Communicate with clients and regulatory agencies to keep projects on schedule.
• Participate in QA/QC and safety programs.
