Job summary

The City of High Point seeks an Environmental Services Technology Coordinator to manage Routeware and related technology across the department. You will train staff, maintain software configurations, and ensure accurate work orders and customer data.

This role partners with IT, Finance, and field crews to streamline operations. Responsibilities include developing SOPs, preparing dashboards, and driving process improvements while upholding safety standards and city policies.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in one of the listed fields and 2 years of experience administering software systems or supporting operational technology.
• Thorough knowledge of Routeware and routing/work order software.
• Ability to train employees, analyze operational data, and produce reports.
• Experience with GIS concepts and mobile technologies.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technology administration for Routeware and Environmental Services software; configure users, permissions, routes and assets.
• Develop and deliver technology training programs for staff; create manuals and SOPs.
• Verify and update customer accounts; process service changes and route adjustments.
• Create and monitor work orders; track performance metrics and generate reports.
• Coordinate communications, support surveillance applications, and assist with budget reporting.
• Participate in continuous improvement and pilot projects; ensure OSHA safety compliance.
