As a key member of the Environmental Services Department, the Environmental Services Technology Coordinator oversees the department's technology systems, software applications, training initiatives, and operational communications. This position serves as the department administrator for Routeware and related technology platforms while ensuring accurate customer account management, work order processing, reporting, and communication between office and field personnel. The Environmental Services Technology Coordinator works closely with management, Information Technology, Finance, Customer Service, and operational staff to improve efficiency through technology, training, and continuous process improvement.
Technology Administration Serve as the department administrator for Routeware and related Environmental Services software. Configure and maintain Routeware users, permissions, routes, assets, and system settings. Coordinate software upgrades, testing, and implementation. Evaluate new software and technology solutions that improve departmental efficiency. Coordinate technical support with Information Technology and software vendors. Assist with GIS integration, mobile devices, GPS systems, and vehicle technology. Partner with Code Enforcement to support the use of surveillance cameras for illegal dumping enforcement.
