Arauco North America, Inc. in Bennettsville, SC is seeking an Environmental Coordinator to lead regulatory affairs and environmental compliance for our facilities.

The role emphasizes Title V air permit management, interaction with regulators, and maintaining environmental records. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in ESH/Environmental Engineering and at least five years of industrial experience in an environmental leadership role, with strong MS Office skills and excellent communication.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in ESH, Chemical or Environmental Engineering, strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5 year's industrial experience in an environmental leadership role
• Strong background in Title V air permit management
• Familiarity with wastewater and stormwater NC State regulations is beneficial
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office suite of products

Mansioni

• Manage Title V Air Permit subject to MACT, Boiler MACT, and PSD.
• Maintain excellent relationships with State, Federal, and Local regulators.
• Manage environmental records including preparation and submission of regulatory reports.
• Stay up to date with changes in State and Federal Air and Water regulations.
• Manage site solid waste, hazwaste, and radiation storage locations.
• Ensure appropriate radiation/X-ray protocols maintained on site.
• Conduct stack testing and other compliance activities as required by air permit.
• Supervise daily activities of onsite Wastewater-Environmental Technician/EHS Management System Administrator
• Act as site resource for environmental impacts of projects and manufacturing activities.
• Participate in corporate environmental auditing program, as well as companywide EHS goals and objectives.
