• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years as Environmental Specialist I or higher with the State of Florida; or 2.5+ years in apiculture, environmental protection, regulation, or health-related fields.
• One of the physical or natural sciences; or engineering; or a bachelor's degree with 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, supervise and direct activities of Environmental Specialists in protection, certification and regulation of flora.
• Provide training, conduct performance appraisals and approve attendance and leave.
• Manage program budgets, resources and procurements; ensure procedures meet policies.
